Feminine Individuation

Although this is primarily a general blog about Jungian psychology the focus is often on women's psychology. This is because I am a woman, and this blog is fairly personal, so I spend a lot of time looking at issues that I am actually going through... But it's also because there seems to be a general dearth of information in the Jung-sphere about the journey of individuation from a female perspective. This is one small attempt to remedy that imbalance.

I'm also including posts about the animus on this page. Dealing with the animus has been a huge part of my life; this has lead to lots of posts about the animus. It would be easy enough use Blogger's tags to find all posts on the animus but the order the posts are read is very important as they illustrate a distinct evolution.

The integration of the animus or anima is known to be one of the most difficult tasks of life, and a key stage in the journey to individuation. My hope is that seeing someone's personal experience can help other women with their own animus.
